She served the Dover Lions Club as President during its 60th charter year and Sight Chair for numerous years and is presently the club secretary. She also served the district for two years as a zone chairman and over 10 years as a representative on the International Convention Committee.

She is the recipient of a progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship and the Betty Coffey Fellowship. She has received numerous Certificates of Appreciation and the International Presidents Leadership Medal.
