On July 8, 2017, we had the pleasure of participating in Miami-Dade County's Adopt-A-Tree which was held at Harris Field (Homestead).  The project consists of two trees that are given away annually to each homeowner.  There are generally three events held each year, so that if residents are unable to attend on one of the dates, they still have a chance to go to another event.  Incredibly, residents lined up as early as 5:00AM to adopt these trees - both fruit and shade trees.  You could literally see their excitement as they choose their trees.

Thanks to Immediate PDG Luis Olarte, PDG Marty Murphy, and Lions from the Miami Buena Vista-Biltmore and Miami Dade Interamerican for participating.  We were also honored with the visit of Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava.  Thanks to all for showing your support!
