Carol O'Reagan has been running the canteen at the Amherst Lions Den for over thirty years. Each year she donates her profits back to the club to help with their work in the community.



Several members of the Amherst Lions Club gathered at the Lions Park on a sunny day to stain three older gazebos. The gazebos are in much use by the community but were getting a bit shabby looking.

Lions Rubin Millard and Julie Hicks from the Amherst Lions Club present a donation to Wayne MacDougal of the Roy Maltby Fundy Hockey School.



The Amherst Lions Club supports the local radio station, CFTA 107.9. Here Lisa Emory, from the station, accepts a cheque from King Lion Robert Small and Lion Dan Arsneau.



The Amherst Lions Club sponsors a different organization at each weekly bingo. Here Lion Jeanie-Maie Smith and Giant Bingo Chair, Lion Julie Hicks, present food items to Charlotte Ross from the Amherst Food Bank.



Lion Jeanie Maie Smith checks out some plastic bottle caps that were turned in to the Amherst Lions Club. The club collects these caps which are then passed on to the VON and are used to make prosthetics for children.



The Amherst Lions Club held a Toy Bingo in conjunction with Bright Beginnings Day Care, a non-profit day care centre. Lion Basil Hicks is shown presenting the cheque to the Bright Beginnings staff.



The Amherst Lions Club celebrated Lions Rubin and Debra Millard's 50th wedding anniversary.



Hantsport & District Lions Club donating $500.00 to assist Hantsport & Area Community Food Bank. Lions President Steve Spurr makes the presentation to Beth Caldwell on the left and Heather McGinnis on the right representing the Food Bank.
