During the month of February the Amherst Lions Club collected items for the Cumberland Homelessness and Housing Support Association. Here Lion Cheryl MacKenzie shows some of the items collected.

The Amherst Lions Club held a surprise birthday party to celebrate Lion Louise Small's 95th birthday. Lion Louise has been in the club for over 60 years and still shows up to work the Thursday night bingos.

The Amherst Little League honored the Amherst Lions Club by adding them to their Wall of Fame. The Amherst Lions Club have sponsored a team since the very start of the Little League - seventy years!
