There are some exciting events going on in the month of June!  

Our District Journey for Sight Walk which raises money for Mass Lions Eye Research is this Saturday the 15th.  Mother Nature is predicted to provide us with a beautiful day.  Come get outside and raise funds with fellow Lions!

Are you planning to take an Office position in your club next year or are you curious of what holding an office might be like?  Join us for the Officer Training School on June 22.  The morning program includes breakfast as well as an opportunity to network with Lions from other Clubs before the seminars start.  Officer Training WAS limited to only incoming Officers but has now been OPENED TO ALL LIONSwho may be interested.  Please join us for a morning of fellowship and learning.

 

The Lowell Spinners is hosting a Lions night on June 20.  Come join us for a night of Baseball at a beautiful park.  Please wear your Lions shirt and let's be noticed!  Peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jacks are available.

 

 

13-16 Acton Lions Town fair

The Annual ACTON LIONS CLUB TOWN FAIR will be held on Thursday, June 13th through Sunday, June 16th 2019 at the School Street Soccer Fields (off Route 2 on Acton/Concord town line).  A special ‘RIDE ALL NIGHT’ bracelet will be sold at a reduced price. More information can be found at www.actonlions.org.  All types of amusement rides for both the young and the old along with food concessions and games of chance and skill. Admission is free and the famous Fiesta Shows will be providing all rides, games and food concessions. Ample free parking is available

 

15- Journey for Sight

 

Lake Quannapowitt, Wakfield.  Walk starts at the Gazebo.  registration at 8:30, walk starts at 9:30.  Fee is $15 and you'll get a free T-shirt with an additional $10 in sponsorship. Contact 2VDG Marcel at lionmarcel33n@gmail.com if more information is needed.

Lelacheur Park, 450 Aiken St Lowell.  Game is at 7:05PM.  They are promoting the Lions that night by using their Scoreboard to promote our eyeglass recycling program and membership promotion. 23-Tewksbuty Lions Motorcycle Run

Registration starts at 10:00 AM and kickstands are up at 11:30 at JT Callahan's Pub, 1475 Main St Tewksbury.  $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.  There will be food, music and raffles as well.  https://tewksburylionsclub.org/
