Amherst Lions turn out to see the new splash pad at the Amherst Lions Park...and one Lion couldn't resist trying it out!



After a long haul in hospital, John Gauci found himself in need of a scooter to help him get around. The Amherst Lions Club helped out by presenting with a scooter for his use.

Stephen Brown's wheelchair was eleven years old and getting in very bad shape. The Amherst Lions Club presented Mr. Brown with the use of a newer wheelchair. Here, he and Scooter/Wheelchair Committee Chair, Rubin Millard look over his new chair.



Amherst Lioness Club make a donation to the Cumberland Public Libraries in support of their March break programs. Here, Lioness Louise Small (left) and Lioness Mary Black present library representative, Julie Allison-Savage, with the cheque.
