At the Amherst Lions Club Awards Night, two members received 35-year chevrons. Membership Chair Dan Yarymowich presents the chevrons to Lions Phil Baxter and Robert Small.



The Hubbards Area Lions Club host “Coffee At The Club” every Monday morning. It is so nice to see family and friends gather together sharing stories and relaxing.



A Lions Training Session, run by Past District Governor Peter Reid, was held at the Amherst Lions Club. Members from the Amherst and Springhill Clubs attended.



The Amherst Lions Club held a breakfast to help out the Tae Kwan Do club. The Lions did the cooking and the kids and family did the serving, cleaning tables, etc.



The Amherst Lions Club made a donation to the Cumberland Public Libraries in support of their Summer Reading Club. Here King Lion Phil Baxter presents the cheque to Lauren Furlong, coordinator of the Summer Reading Club.



The Hubbards Area Lions Club raised enough money at their road toll in Hubbards to provide a $500 bursary and $500 for a scholarship for their local high schools.



At the restart of their Giant Bingo the Amherst Lions Club gave out tickets for their bingo players to have a chance to win a barbeque (donated by Amherst Home Hardware) and a full tank of propane (donated by Oxford Home Hardware).



Beth Estabrooks, Executive Director of CAN-U (Cumberland Adult Network for Upgrading), accepts a donation from the Amherst Lions Club presented by King Lion Phil Baxter.
