District 11-E2 Convention

Hello Lions of District 11E-2,
The district convention is approaching and it's time to register. This year's convention will take
place Saturday, April 20, on the campus of Alpena Community College.
All the events willl be held in the Granum Theater except for lunch, which will take place down the
hall in the commons area. Registration and all the displays will be in Room 106, across from the
Granum Theater.
As in past years, there is no registration fee. The only cost will be for lunch, which is $20. The
deadline to register is April 12. However, you will be able to attend the convention but lunch may
not be available.
This year's service project is a food collection for emergency meals for area senior citizens in
conjunction with the Alpena Senior Center. Please bring canned vegetables and fruit (no expired
goods) and we will collect them and present them at the end of the convention. Canned goods to
bring:
Vegetables Fruit
Corn Peaches
Green Beans Pears
Peas Pineapple
Carrots Fruit Cocktail
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Mixed Vegetables
