The Zone B2 meeting will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Beatrice Public Library, located at 100 N. 16th Street. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude at 12:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be Kevin Monfelt, a local beekeeper, who will present on Hives for Heroes, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to honeybee conservation and to supporting veterans as they transition from military service to civilian life. Mr. Monfelt does not actively solicit donations for this program. However, if contributions are offered and not required for Hives for Heroes, they may be directed to Project New Hope, which supports veteran-related causes.

Papillion Area Lions Club annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The fundraiser will be held in the Papillion - La Vista High School Cafeteria (North). Entertainment will be provided from 11:15 AM to 1:50 PM in the cafeteria. The Papillion Area Concert Band will perform from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. Carryout will be available. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 6 to 12.
