Past District Governors Organiztion (PDGO) Report
Council Meeting 10/3/20
We have 7 new members this year and we will utilize all their talents.
We are sponsoring $100 to each District that sends someone to WLLI. Our way to support the upcoming Leadership! We are working with Centennial Committee in providing a Centennial Tree and Plaque for LEBW's Memorial Garden. We are working with Convention Committee on Seminars for the Convention.
Our goal will be to improve communication with existing Members and potential new Members. It's important that we have representation on all the major Committees and support the Council's decision's in our Districts. We can be a real asset to DG, 1st & 2nd VP's in building up their Leadership skills and knowledge. Two things has to happen to be successful - PDG's need to have an open mind and not over powering and the District officers need to accept PDG's help.
This is what we do!
Education: To aid in educating the Lions of the District and Multiple District in all aspects of Lionism.
Motivation: To help in motivating the Lions of Multiple District 27 in all aspects of growth, leadership and retention. Unity: To ensure that all Lions continue to rally in support of the programs and projects of the MD- 27 Council and LCI. The PDGO also handles the MD27 Convention Seminars-Moderator/Monitors, supports Wisconsin Lions Leadership Institute and supports District Governor Spouses or significant other. We continue to look for other ways to support the Leadership for MD 27.
